Madam Secretary is one of those shows, which is 95% OK, then it sneaks in a very violent scene. But it fits the mission of this website well, in that we don't feel that just because 5% is violent or graphic, we have to skip the whole show!

Once in awhile, in just a few episodes, there are a few scenes that are really out there, so proceed with caution!

Three men kidnap an American. They handle him roughly, but they don't seem to hurt him. Sounds worse than it is.
"Where in the world is Russian President..."
Madam Secretary is chatting with her family
mild"Fine. I'll tell him. " -Stevie (quietly)
Security camera footage of the grab. Very mild.
"We're monitoring Taliban, ISIS, and all the usual radical websites." -Daisy
mild"Madam Secretary, Admiral Hill is sending you security footage..." -Blake
More security footage, equally mild.
"And that's why their families aren't home..." -Madam Secretary
distressing"Can you visually confirm the package?" -Admiral Hill
Disrupted security footage shows the mission from far away. Garretty is saved, but the other three men are left behind. Not graphic, shown only from air, but still sad.
Quiet, then "I'm sorry things didn't go your way..."
