Notes About the Violence
Madam Secretary is one of those shows, which is 95% OK, then it sneaks in a very violent scene. But it fits the mission of this website well, in that we don't feel that just because 5% is violent or graphic, we have to skip the whole show!
Once in awhile, in just a few episodes, there are a few scenes that are really out there, so proceed with caution!
Matt and Win are stuck in an office
"Yeah, that is exactly what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna walk out of this building and away from the both of you, and begin the extremely difficult process of trying to move on." - Win
"You've never had to fight for one thing in your life, have you. Good looking rich guy." - Matt
Win is punched, but it's very mild.
"If she were my girl, and she cheated on me, I swear to god, I'd kill the guy." - Matt
Ms. Tolliver is meeting with a diplomat
"That's what I always told myself, and yet here we are. Who am I kidding...The state department is my life." Diplomat
You may want to mute this.
The scene changes.
The secretary interrogates someone, and it is heavily implied that he is tortured after she leaves. He is heard screaming in pain as she walks away.
"What does stepping it up mean?" -Stevie
Or, wait until Stevie is shown.
